Danish manufacturer Linddana has launched a new mobile wood chipper.

Weighing less than 750 kg the new TP 175 Mobile, which builds on the company's previous TP 160 Mobile, has a hydraulic intake that can chip wood of up to 17.5 cm in diameter.

Fitted with a twin disc rotor cutter with a 'TP OptiCut' cutting system, the new mobile wood chipper offers even traction, resulting in uniform woodchip and optimal fuel economy. The TP 175 Mobile can produce up to 10 m3 of woodchip per hour.

The unit is built of high-strength steel that is 50% stronger than conventional construction steel, making it lighter and easier to transport.

“By keeping the weight of the machine below 750 kg, we have ensured that everyone with a standard driving licence can transport a TP 175 Mobile and make full use of all the advantages it offers,” said Jørgen Due Jensen, managing director of Linddana.

The TP 175 Mobile is powered by a 26 kW (35 hp) 4-cylinder Lombardini diesel engine.
