Liugong has opened a headquarters for its European operations in Almere, the Netherlands. The facilities include sales and technical support functions as well as a spare parts warehouse. The facility comprises 4,000 m2 of offices and covered space, with a further 4,000 m2 yard.

Wang Xiaohua, chairman of Liugong said, "This new office will strengthen our presence as a top construction equipment manufacturer brand, and to service our dealers and customers in the whole European market."

Liugong has been selling equipment in Europe for five years and has nine product lines available in the market. The company says it has doubled the size of its dealer network in the last year and that in 2011 it saw its sales in the region grow +200%.

Liugong is the world's 17th largest manufacturer of construction equipment, according to the 2012 edition of the Yellow Table, published by International Construction.
