Chinese construction equipment manufacturer LiuGong has celebrated the sale of its 350,000th wheeled loader.

The firm hosted an industry event to mark the milestone achievement, made 51 years after selling its first loader, the Z435.

LiuGong’s achievements in the sector also include producing China’s first modernised wheeled loader, the first plateau-type, the 856, and the country’s largest wheeled loader, the 812H.

Last year saw LiuGong launch its first vertical lift wheeled loader, the VL70A.

At the event, Qi Jun, president of the China Construction Machinery Industry Association, said LiuGong had been “integral in China’s modernisation and infrastructure development.”
