A Geda SH 2000 industrial lift provides access to the preheater tower for the Märker cement works in Harburg, Germany

Geda is working with local cement works Märker, in Harburg, to provide access to its 70 m high preheater tower.

A Geda SH 2000 transport platform is being used to reach the nine landings of the tower where workers carry out essential maintenance work as and when required.

The Geda SH 2000, with its 4.3 m2 car, has a rated capcity of two tonnes and provides enough space to transport bulky and heavy parts.

On each of the nine landings special Geda landing level safety gates and landing enclosures have been installed at the entry and exit points.
