Lowther-Rolton opens in USA

UK-based engineering firm Lowther-Rolton International Ltd has expanded its services into the US with the launch of Lowther-Rolton LLC. The subsidiary will provide a portfolio of services to the construction industry, in the field of heavy lift and transportation engineering.

Lowther-Rolton LLC will serve the petrochemical, energy, bridge construction, offshore and other specialist sectors, while services include design, engineering, planning, technical auditing and on-site attendance to ensure safe engineering and construction activities on projects.

Lowther-Rolton International was formed in the UK in 1987 to provide clients in the industry with a professional independent engineering, design and consultancy service, specialised in engineering the load movement of all types of pre-assembled and pre-cast structures in the fields of petrochemical, energy, bridge construction and specialist structures.

In 1995 the company formed a subsidiary in Australia and, in 2009, Lowther-Rolton entered the Middle East, becoming affiliated with the Santis HSE Group in Dubai.

Lowther-Rolton LLC will be headed by Doug Ferguson, an industry veteran with more than 20 years of experience in heavy lift and transportation.
