Russia's LTECH-Lifting Technology, which sells and rents access and lifting equipment has been appointed distributor for Italian company Merlo in Russia.

LTECH intends to promote Merlo equipment in Russia through its rental channels: customers who rent the Merlo machines will be able to evaluate the quality and flexibility. LTECH anticipates that this will increase the popularity of Merlo equipment in Russia, as well as stimulate sales. LTECH also plans to participate in the larger construction equipment exhibitions and show the Merlo machines.

In 2011 LTECH intends to upgrade its rental fleet of telehandlers with 30 new Merlo units. The majority will be 17 m telehandlers; 10 units will be 21 m Roto models which feature a rotating boom.

LTECH will supply all Merlo clients with spare parts including the machines which have already been sold in Russia.

Both companies expressed their satisfaction with the agreement and confirmed their confidence in the further fruitful development of partnership relations.
