Russian sales and rental company LTech has supplied a Palazzani TSJ 23/C ECO tracked platform to the State Academic Bolshoi Theatre of Russia.

The machine, which is an eco version with a battery and AC 220 V power source, is the first machine of its type to be delivered in Russia, said LTech.

The theatre’s specifications were for a light platform with a working height of up to 23 m, electric power source, and a compact size that would fit through a door and have a small turning radius.

The Palazzani platform will be used inside the montage and painting workshops as well as outdoors. The machine will also carry out maintenance on the theatre’s teleclimbers, which are used for hanging decorations, lighting and engineering constructions, as well as installing and dismounting scenery.

The TSJ 23/C ECO is the second order The Bolshoi has placed with LTech. In 2011 the theatre bought a Snorkel MB26J from the dealer.
