AFI presents a cheque for UK£5000 to Macmillan Cancer Support

AFI has donated UK£5000 to Macmillan Cancer Support, which is the equivalent of funding a Macmillan nurse for more than a month.

AFI sales director Pete Wajner said, “We are delighted that we have been able to make this donation to Macmillan, in addition to supporting them through purchasing their Christmas cards. We are committed to further developing our corporate social responsibility programme and, with this in mind, we are looking forward to increasing our charitable and community activities during the coming months.”

Macmillan’s fundraising manager Hayley Cooke thanked AFI for its donation. “Cancer is the toughest fight most of us will ever face. More than one in three of us will be diagnosed with cancer at some point in our lives. At Macmillan, we understand how vital it is to have someone by your side when you’re affected by cancer. Without the generosity of companies like AFI we would not be able to reach the growing number of people affected by cancer.”
