Although still on the drawing board, Bronto told AI that the new platform will have a transport weight of 60 t, will be mounted on a 2.5 m wide, commercial, 6-axle chassis with a total length of around 17.5 m. Maximum outreach will be approximately 30 m.

Maes, which is Bronto's fire fighting platform dealer in Belgium and industrial platform dealer for France, is not yet ready to give details of how the machine will be marketed as part of its rental fleet. However, Carolien Willems, who is responsible for activities, told Access International that the company was excited about adding the unit to its rental fleet.

Jan Denks, Bronto's export sales manager, said the machine's manoeuvrability was going to be one of its key features, making it an easy-to-own unit; “It's just another working model, even though be something that makes money for our customers.”

The new Bronto will join Anton TTS 1000 in the exclusive club of +100 m working platforms.
