Manitou announces warehousing subsidiary

French materials handling equipment supplier Manitou now has a subsidiary dedicated to its warehousing business.

LMH Solutions designs, assembles and distributes the Loc and Manilec brand name products through a network of independent dealers.

Manitou said that apart from the existing ranges of standard warehousing equipment, LMH Solutions is reinforcing its strategy of developing custom made products manufactured on order, based on its recognised expertise and with the improved agility provided by this new structure.

“This operation is an important step in the strengthening of the Manitou Group in industrial handling,” said president and chief executive officer Michel Denis.

“With LMH Solutions the group has now an improved reactivity and has a more efficient organisation to develop warehousing products, a product range which is very complementary to the industrial forklift business.”

The production and administrative functions of LMH Solutions are located in Beaupréau, western France, while sales and aftersales service are in Saint-Ouen-l’Aumône in the north-west of Paris.
