Mark Hutchinson has taken over from Mick Wright as UpRight's director of product support - Mr Wright will be heading up UPAME (UpRight Powered Access Middle East).

Mr Hutchinson has spent over 10 years with The Tanfield Group Plc, in several senior roles, most recently as operations director for its Zero Emission Vehicles division, which includes Smith Electric Vehicles.

Mr Hutchinson has a huge amount of experience and expertise in the construction equipment sector, having managed Tanfield's relationship as a supplier to Caterpillar for several years - and he has specific knowledge of the aerial work platform business from the company's days as Aerial Access.

Darren Kell, UpRight's chief executive said "Mark is trained to black belt level, in Six Sigma, which is the highest qualification achievable in one of the world's best-regarded quality management systems. I firmly believe that there is no one within our business better placed to build on the great work already done by Mick Wright in product support and I know he will be a superb addition to the UpRight team."
