Market development appointment at Spider

Seattle, USA-based Spider has appointed Mike Russell as director of market development.

Mr Russell joined SafeWorks, Spider’s parent company, in March 2005 and has had leadership roles in the wind energy and rental dealership segments.

Most recently, he served as national sales director. Additionally, he serves as president of the Scaffold and Access Industry Association (SAIA).

“Mike has consistently demonstrated a talent for penetrating emerging markets in prior assignments and I am confident he will do the same for our Spider business segment,” commented David Beckett, vice president and general manager - Spider operations.
