Contractor McCrossin, based in Pennsylvania USA, has taken delivery of a Terex HC 80 crawler crane.

The new addition to the fleet was delivered by Terex distributor American Contractors Equipment Company. The 80 US ton (72 tonne) capacity crawler has a 60 metre main boom and a maximum boom length of 73 m when configured with a luffing jib.

The first task for McCrossin’s crawler crane was on a jobsite in Erie, Pennsylvania. Joe Leahey, McCrossin vice president said, “The HC 80 is a great addition to our fleet that allows us to decrease our overhead costs while expanding our territory and capabilities.”

American Contractors Equipment Company was appointed as a Terex authorised distributor for West Virginia and parts of Ohio and Pennsylvania in February 2015. They are authorised for all terrain, boom truck, crawler, rough terrain, and truck cranes.
