McGrath RentCorp in the US has completed the first phase implementation of the rentalresult software from the Result Group. McGrath's new enterprise resource planning (ERP) tool replaces several programs developed in-house.

"We are very excited with our successful launch of the first phase of the rentalresult application. The new system will provide us with a powerful tool to support the growth of our businesses in the years ahead." said Randle Rose, chief administrative officer of McGrath.

McGrath RentCorp, founded in 1979 and based in California, rents modular buildings under the trade name Mobile Modular in California, Texas, Florida, North Carolina and Georgia. It also rents portable storage containers under the name Mobile Modular Portable Storage.

The company's TRS-RenTelco division rents communications test equipment across the Americas. Under the trade name TRS-Environmental, McGrath rents environmental test equipment, and its subsidiary, Adler Tank Rentals, rents liquid containers.

The Result Group, based in the UK and the US, develops java-based software for rental companies.
