MEC names Jim Dillon as operations manager

California-based MEC Aerial Work Platforms has appointed industry veteran Jim Dillon as operations manager.
Dillon was previously with UpRight from 1986-1999 where he served as general manager, president and CEO. According to MEC, Dillon brings a "wealth of experience and expertise to the company and has already proven himself to be an invaluable asset in his role as operations manager."
As operations manager, Dillon will oversee the purchasing department, inventory and resource management, production and the modernization of the MEC manufacturing process.
"Dillon who has already guided the factory to record production numbers," MEC said in a statement. "The increase in productivity and operating efficiency has put the company on track to recognize its most profitable year since MEC began manufacturing scissor lifts and booms in California."
