Steve Citron has been named as the director of business development at MEC. A 26-year veteran of the industry, he comes to the company after holding positions with Genie and Bil-Jax.

“Steve and our other lift industry veterans have leveraged their collective talents and have created significant synergies here at MEC that will definitely take our company to the next level ... and the level beyond that,” said David White, president of MEC Manufacturing.

The company also announced Diane Tjerrild has been named its new Director of Marketing. She brings more than 26 years of marketing experience to MEC, including six years spent with Marklift (Mark Industries).

“I'm impressed with what MEC is doing in the industry,” said Tjerrild. “We have a very talented group of executives and employees that I feel are going to drive the new MEC successfully into the future.”
