Mest, which represents companies like Liebherr, Bomag and Peri in Iceland, became Niftylift dealer for Iceland earlier this year.

Mr Sigurbjornsson says Mest has ordered around 10 Nifty machines so far and hopes to order 30 for the year. He says there is “crazy demand” for lifts in Iceland, with several large projects underway, including a major aluminium plant and a new concern hall being built in Reykjavik.
