Metso announces new Italian distributor model

Metso – serving the mining, aggregates, recycling, oil, gas, pulp, paper and process industries – has changed its distribution model for Italy, with now three exclusive distributors covering the whole of the country.
Righini and Frantoparts FP will handle the exclusive distribution of all Metso stationary crushing and screening machines.
Righini will cover the provinces of Valle d'Aosta, Piemonte and Liguria, and Frantoparts will cover the remaining provinces.
Another company, Scai, will be the exclusive distributor of mobile equipment for the whole of Italy.
Angel Luis Garcia, Metso’s distribution business manager for Spain and Italy, said, “These three distributors are already our long-term partners with proven expertise and service capability. We are confident that they are the right partners for us for many years to come.”
Frantoparts FP has operated in aggregates, and crushing and screening equipment since 1983. In addition to new machine sales, it also offers services, from the replacement of spare and wear parts to on-site assistance, machine revisions and reconditioning.
Righini, founded in 1911, provides its customers with a service ranging from initial consultation to aftersales service with the supply of original spare parts. At its centre in Grugliasco, Torino, it has a large inventory of primary emergency spare parts and the most requested parts.
Scai has been working in the aggregates business for more than 70 years. Operating an extensive network of workshops and rental points, it offers the new Metso mobile machines and a rental fleet to its customers.
