Middle East Wolffkran partnership

28 April 2009

German tower crane producer Wolffkran has entered a partnership with construction equipment dealer Roots Group, based in the Middle East.

The Roots Group will take over sales, rental and full consultancy services for Wolff cranes in Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Syria and Egypt.

The deal was signed in March and Roots has already purchased 33 Wolff 7532 tower cranes. They will be used in the construction of the Princess Noura University for Girls in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The first two cranes, with trolley jibs, have already been delivered.

"Our strong engagement over the last years in Arabia has paid off. We are proud to win Roots Group as a business partner and we are looking forward to a successful and long lasting co-operation," said Dietrich Sell, Wolffkran director of international sales and representative for Saudi Arabia.
