Loader crane manufacturer MKG Maschinen & Kranvertrieb in Germany has a new folding model, the HLK541, in the 50 tonne-metre class. The new crane can have up to eight hydraulIC extensions for a maximum outreach of 20.31 m. Configured with a third artICulation and a hydraulIC jib with the maximum four hydraulic extensions gives the HLK541 a maximum hook height of 32 m.

Also new is the HMK901Ta3-a3 with three hydraulic extensions in the main boom and another three in the jib. Maximum hook height is 55 m with the boom set at 75°. A new octagonal boom section replaces the former hexagonal version. As standard the HMK901T has a 3tonne winch, hydraulically extendable counterweight, radio remote control and the LS load sensing system. The crane requires a chassis of minimum 33 tonne gvw (4-axles).

MKG will show these and other models in the range at the IAA commercial vehicle show, 21-28 September in Hannover, Germany.
