The organiser of this year’s Samoter event has announced new exhibitors including Doosan-Bobcat, Hidromek and Mecalac as newly released figures suggest an upturn in the Italian construction industry.

They join other established names such as Case, Hyundai, Kobelco, Komatsu and Yanmar for the earthmoving, site and building machinery exhibition, which takes place in Verona, Italy, from February 22 to 25.

Organiser Veronafiere reports that Italian exports of construction machinery in the first nine months of 2016 were worth €1.86 billion (US$1.93 billion), an increase of nearly 1% on 2015. Imports in the same period accounted for €580 million ($603 million).

This year marks the 30th Samoter exhibition, which is already set to occupy 10 halls of the Verona Exhibition Centre.
