More power and efficiency from Brokk 110

03 January 2017

Remote controlled demolition machine manufacturer Brokk has introduced its 110 model.

The electric-powered machine features increased demolition power over its predecessor, the Brokk 100, and includes the all-new Brokk SmartPower electrical system. These improvements increase the reliability and versatility for customers on harsh jobsites in industries such as construction, metal processing, mining and nuclear.

“We saw the opportunity to further enhance efficiency and increase hitting power, which led to the development of the 110,” said Martin Krupicka, Brokk group CEO.

The new machine features a 3 m (10 ft) reach and weighs 990 kg (2,183 lb). It delivers 15% more power than the Brokk 100 while retaining a compact design for restricted spaces and weak floors.

“The Brokk 110 represents the constant innovation at the company,” said Peter Bigwood, vice president of sales and marketing in North America.

“Its new SmartPower electrical system offers customers heightened reliability and durability to ensure increased productivity and safety on the jobsite.”

As well as improvements to its overall power and electrical systems, the 110 features upgraded durability. This includes hardened parts, LED headlight protection, reinforced corners and a new steel grey colour coating in strategic areas to add additional resistance to dirt and scratches.

The Brokk 110 is compatible with the same range of attachments for the machine it replaces, including breakers, crushers, grapples, rock drills and shears.
