NDA president aims to help contractors ‘navigate’ Covid

Chris Godek, president of the National Demolition Association (NDA) of the USA, will be among the panel for “How demolition contractors can navigate Covid-19” – a webinar aimed at helping North Americans in the industry tackle the Coronavirus pandemic.

Chris, who many D&Ri readers will have seen as an awards announcer at last week’s online World Demolition Summit, is one of five industry experts on the panel for the webinar, hosted by US companies Sage and Fieldflo.

The event takes place on Wednesday 18 November at 9am Pacific Time and registration is free of charge.

Joining Chris will be Karsten Pawlik, vice president operations at Alpine Demolition Services; I-Kota Construction CEO Riley McLaughlin; and Qusair Mohamedbhai and Iris Halpern, partner and attorney respectively at law firm Rathod Mohamedbhai.

Subjects under discussion include:

• Covid-19’s impact on the demolition industry in the US

• Mitigating risk with employees

• How processes are changing in this new environment and what has or hasn’t worked

• Status of the building/developing market and what the future looks like.

The moderator for the webinar is Roni Szegeti, CEO and co-founder of Fieldflo.
