Dinolift debuted its new self-propelled 280RXT at APEX. The boom features outriggers and has a completely new boom profile, enabling a better outreach with more basket capacity than before, the company said.

“We have listened to our customers and taken the feedback to our R&D,” said Karin Nars. “We kept all the good features of the current RXT range and added some new ones for an improved operator experience and overall performance.”

The unit has a 350 kg basket capacity and a full working envelope in all directions with the basket loaded. The maximum working height is 21.95 m with a maximum outreach of 13.4 m. Boom rotation is continuous and basket rotation is 180 degrees. It also has 4WD, 40 percent gradeability and Dinolift’s SafeGuard secondary guarding.

According to business development manager Jan Denks, the unit will be in production in mid to late 2017 and is a global machine.
