New COO for APR Energy

Power rental company APR Energy has promoted former senior VP of business development Brian Rich as its new COO. It also announced that co-founder and president Laurence Anderson has been appointed to the Board as an executive director.

It said new COO Mr Rich, who reports directly to Mr Anderson, would be vital in helping the company roll out its global regionalisation strategy. Mr Rich joined APR Energy in 2012 and has 20 years of international energy and utility infrastructure experience.

APR Energy CEO John Campion said that since joining the company, Mr Rich had driven the placement of over 2.5 GW of new and renewal business.

“His appointment as COO reflects the confidence we have in Brian to help us meet our growth objectives and achieve our strategic vision as a truly global, mature company,” Mr Campion added.

Meanwhile, Mr Anderson took up the additional position of executive director of the APR Energy Board on 29 May.
