Italian crane rental companies Baldini Group and Musselli both celebrated their purchases of new Grove all terrain cranes in November.

Baldini ordered a GMK4100L-1 and Muselli a GMK5250L, both of which are due for delivery in November. In addition, Baldini ordered a GMK5150L and a GMK6300L.

Both companies are existing Grove customers and they marked the occasion on the Manitowoc stand at October’s GIS exhibition in Piacenza, Italy. Baldini Arrigo, company owner, celebrated with his daughter, members of the company’s management and the Manitowoc team. Attending the show from Musselli were Fabrizio Musselli and his sister, Ileana Musselli, the third generation of the family-owned rental company.

Baldini’s new 100 tonne capacity GMK4100L-1, 150 tonne capacity GMK5150L and 300 tonne capacity GMK6300L will join the fleet in North East Italy. Musselli’s existing Grove fleet includes a GMK4100L-1 and GMK6300L.

Commenting on Baldini’s order, Davide Camperi, area sales manager for mobile cranes at Manitowoc Crane Group Italy, said, “We are very glad to celebrate this milestone with Baldini Group. These cutting-edge all terrain cranes will increase Baldini Group’s competitiveness in the region, and they will find this newest generation of GMKs can increase the company’s versatility and yield a higher return on investment.”

About Muselli’s order, Camperi said, “It’s a pleasure for Manitowoc to deliver this GMK5250L to Musselli. The new crane will join a GMK4100L-1, delivered in December 2016, that’s already working on a large refinery project.”
