Imer has appointed two new European distributors for its Iteco powered access division: Kemp will cover the Benelux region, and Sklad will join Tecnostroy as joint dealers for Russia.

Kemp has been a dealer for Imer subsidiary IHIMER for around 18 years and already has an access division selling Nagano tracked machines and IHIMER's Lem Spider models. Access sales manager for Kemp Hoogwerkers is Folkert Smeets.

In Russia, Sklad has been appointed Iteco dealer alongside existing representative Technostroy. Sklad is a Nissan Forklift distributor in Russia and is strong in the logistics and warehousing sector, with facilities in 16 major cities throughout Russia.

Martin Connolly, product & distributor development manager for Imer's Iteco division, told Access International that Technostroy would continue to have responsibility for construction and maintenance sector sales in Moscow and St Petersburg, while Sklad will have distribution rights throughout Russia for all other sales. "It made sense to get the best out of two good partners", said Mr Connolly.

Leading the Iteco sales operation at Sklad will be Alexandr Grisenko, group purchasing general manager.

Mr Connolly said sales and service training has been held at Kemp in the second week of December and 11 Iteco machines have already been delivered to the new distributor in Holland, with a further stock order to be made for Belgium. Sklad's stock order is currently being finalized, said Mr Connolly.
