The CPA (Construction Plant-hire Association) has appointed Peter Brown as technical development manager, a new role within the association, effective from April 4.

Peter comes to the association from the CITB (Construction Industry Training Board) where he gained his experience by working in a range of roles including training development, education, and skills certification.

He was also responsible for setting the standard for the construction and allied sectors within his role at the CITB.

CPA chief executive Colin Wood said: “I am pleased to welcome Peter to the CPA fold. Many of our members have known Peter for many years and are aware of his skills and experience. I believe that Peter will be a great asset to the members and staff.”
