New marketing manager at Byrne

Former A-Plant marketing manager Chris Nicholls has taken up a new role as group marketing manager for Byrne Equipment Rental in the Middle East.

Based in Dubai, Mr Nicholls is responsible for developing and maintaining marketing strategies to meet Byrne's objectives.

The role involves evaluating customer research, market conditions, competitor data and overseeing all branding/marketing initiatives, advertising and promotional activities across the GCC (including Saudi Arabia, Oman, UAE, Abu Dhabi and Qatar).

Mr Nicholls took up the position after over seven years at UK-based A-Plant, which is part of Ashtead Group.
