Chinese construction equipment manufacturer Sany Heavy Industries is reported to be investigating setting up a production facility in North America. If the project goes ahead, it would make Sany the first Chinese construction equipment manufacturer with an assembly facility in the US. Executive president Xiang Wenbo said the company would focus on niche products, such as concrete pumps and placing booms.
