Gregory Bloom, the new Rental Manager for Xylem Africa

Appointed in May 2020 to head the company’s rental division in Africa, Bloom will be responsible for providing water solutions for a variety of applications. The company serves customers in a range of sectors, from construction and mining to agriculture and infrastructure.

Applications include dewatering, underground drainage, fly ash removal, temporary fire pumps, and sludge removal.

Bloom has been in sales for 22 years and in that time has worked in a number of roles across several industries, including automotive and security.

He served as National Operations Manager and Sales Representative at South African purified water provider Aquazania before going on to hold key management positions at Eazi Access Rental, CC Crane Hire, and SkyJacks. His roles included Key Account Manager and Sales Manager.

Described by Xylem as ‘process driven and a prolific supporter of his teams’, Bloom holds an Advanced Business Management Diploma from Damelin, a Diploma in Project Management from Varsity College, and has completed the Gordon Institute of Business Science’s Executive Development Programme and Finance for Non-Financial Managers Programme.
