Terex Port Solutions (TPS) in germany has introduced its latest mobile harbour crane, the Terex Gottwald Model 5.

The diesel-electric crane offers a lifting capacity of 125 tonnes, a radius to 51 metres and hoisting speed up to 120 m/min. It is designed to serve vessels with up to 17 rows of containers.

The new two-rope crane will be available in two models, the G HMK 5406 variant, which has a full lifting capacity of 100 tonnes up to a radius of 24 metres, and the G HMK 5506 variant, which has full capacity of 125 tonnes up to 18 m. The new crane will be made available as a mobile harbour crane, portal harbour crane on rails and as a floating crane on a barge.

Model 5 is the first of the Terex Gottwald harbour cranes that will be painted in the white and grey Terex livery instead of the old Gottwald blue.
