New Zoomlion factory starts production

Chinese crane manufacturer Zoomlion has started production at its new CNY300 million (US$44 million) crawler crane factory in Changsha, Hunan Province.

The facility, named Lugu Crawler Crane Park, has the capability to produce 100 high capacity crawler cranes annually.

According to Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science & Technology Development Co. the factory includes an advanced coating and painting facility and assembly line. Environmental considerations are also high on the agenda, it says. "Zoomlion believes that the crawler crane base will roll out products as advanced as the best around the world."
