NFDC to host October Demolition Day

23 July 2010

The Britannia Hotel in London's Docklands will be the venue on the 12th October for the UK's National Federation of Demolition Contractor's Demolition Day conference/seminar. According to the Federation, this one day event is intended to provide an educational but also entertaining forum for delegates from across the construction sector, as well as those intimately involved in the demolition business.

The event will provide an insight into the workings of the UK demolition industry by way of a mix of practical case studies, training and auditing initiatives and the handing of waste arising from the demolition process. With this broad based approach, the NFDC has attracted the support of a number of UK organisations intimately involved with the construction industry in the shape of the Health & Safety Executive (HSE), Waste Resources Action Programme (WRAP) and the Building Research Establishment (BRE).

For information on the event and to book tickets, contact the NFDC by telephone on +44 (0)1442 217144 or by email at info@demolition-nfdc.com. Tickets for the Demolition Day are priced at £50 + VAT and are available on a first come-first served basis.
