De Walt has completely redesigned its seven-model range of 2 kg SDS Plus hammers for increased power and performance, it says. The in-line D25112K has a 780 W motor for 3.1 J of impact energy and has two modes – rotary hammer and rotary only. The other models in the range have three modes and an 800 W motor with 3.4 J of impact energy, designed for the fixing of harder materials such as concrete. The D2511113K and D25114K are of an in-line design, while the D25313K and D25314Khave an L-shaped design, allowing for a stronger grip for drilling bigger holes. The largest model is the D25315K, which is also L-shaped and has a built-in dust extraction system.
