Trailer specialist Nooteboom will launch a semi low-loader trailer designed for the transportation of aerial work platforms.

The 3-axle hydraulically steered semi low-loader will first be presented at Matexpo, taking place 4 - 8 September in Kortrijk, Belgium.

It is equipped as standard with a hydraulic height-adjustable floor, which enables fast and safe loading onto the gooseneck, says the company. Some 40 TUV-certified lashing points are fitted on the load surface so the load can be secured in almost any position.

The hydraulic folding ramps, the load surface and the hydraulic height-adjustable floor are equipped with a serrated and hot-dip galvanised steel grid for optimal grip. The powerful Superwinch electric winch, with radio-controlled remote control, is designed to ensure loading and unloading is safe and easy, even in difficult situations.

Nooteboom added that the low dead weight meant a large payload was available, while the maximum steering angle of 45 degrees provides high manoeuvrabilty.

Versions of the trailer are also available for road construction machinery and bulldozers. These are available with multiple axles and extendible load floor, and the steel grid on the load surface and the ramps is replaced with a hardwood floor.
