Another speaker at the World Demolition Summit in Amsterdam on November 6, 2014, has been confirmed. Martin Bjerregaard of 3d-consulting will take to the stage in Amsterdam to make a presentation entitled A Crystal Ball to North Sea Offshore Decommissioning.

The removal of oil and gas platforms in the North Sea is gaining pace and this presentation will provide scenarios for when the platforms could be arriving on shore for disposal. With regards to offshore decommissioning, he has been involved in the decommissioning of more than 10 North Sea platforms. In addition, in the past he has been part of the project teams for decommissioning industrial sites including Magnox’s Bradwell, Dungeness and Hinkley Point A nuclear sites, Pfizer’s global manufacturing sites in the UK and Ireland, and numerous other complex decommissioning projects.
