US-based trench and traffic equipment rental specialists National Trench Safety (NTS) has added to its operations with the opening of a new branch in Boston, Massachusetts.

The company recently announced it had opened a new branch in Cleveland, Ohio, and its latest venture takes its branch operation to 30.

The company said its large national footprint allowed NTS to provide its national, regional and local customers a high level of customer service, and added that it planned to open additional branch locations in 2017.

The new NTS Boston branch will be managed by Rick Buck, who the company said was a seasoned trench safety specialist with a long history in the Boston market.

Ron Chilton, president of NTS, said, “Mr Buck has significant experience working on some of the largest jobs in the Boston trade area over the last decade.

“Mr Buck also has a dedicated customer following which we expect will enable him to make a seamless transition back into the market with NTS, as we look forward to establishing NTS as the premier shoring partner in the greater Boston market.”

Mr Chilton added that Boston was regarded as one of the top ten cities in the US and had a significant amount of planned infrastructure growth and refurbishment work over the next few years.

He added, “It’s a unique market in terms of the shoring utilised and one that we think is a great fit for our site specific engineered systems and complimentary product lines.”
