Obituary: Nigel Carter of EHS and Avant Tecno

We regret to report the sudden death, last month, of former HSS and Executive Hire Show salesman Nigel Carter, after a short illness.

Nigel was involved in the UK hire industry for a long period, including three years with HSS, where he was responsible for business development and events hire. He is primarily known for his nine years as a sales executive with Executive Hire News magazine and the Executive Hire Show, which is held every year in February.

Since leaving the Executive Hire team in late 2011 he had worked with Avant Tecno in the UK as business development executive, responsible for expanding the brand in established and new markets.

Nigel was an always friendly presence on the UK hire scene, and we offer our condolences to his family, friends and colleagues.
