O’Donovan MD to judge prestigious award

31 March 2016

After winning last year’s esteemed Institute of Directors Family Business Director of the Year award, Jacqueline O’Donovan, managing director of O’Donovan Waste Disposal, has been invited to be a judge on this year’s panel.

The awards recognise professionals working in large companies, small businesses, the public sector and charities who demonstrate leadership excellence.

Jacqueline will be judging the Not for Profit/Third Sector Director of the Year award for the London and South East region.

This award recognises organisations that exist to service the good of the community.

“It’s a huge honour to have been personally selected to be a judge for this year’s awards. I’ll be looking for entries that demonstrate innovative thinking and a proactive approach,” she said.

Jacqueline has spent the past 25 years driving up standards in the waste logistics and construction sectors. She is extremely passionate about business and identifying ways to grow.

She has developed training courses, worked closely with Transport for London (TfL) to devise new policy to protect vulnerable road users and worked with manufacturers to develop safer heavy goods vehicles cabs.

The awards ceremony will take place in London on October 21.
