O’Donovan Waste Disposal has officially opened its latest London facility, a £15 million (US$23 million) depot in Alperton.

The company, which has been in the capital for nearly 60 years, is still a family run business. Its turnover is now more than £16 million (US$24 million) and the company serves the demolition industry as well as waste disposal customers.

The official opening was performed by His Excellency Dan Mulhall, the Ambassador of Ireland to Great Britain.

The company said: “Sustainability is paramount for us as we look to protect what we currently have and also for our future generations.

“The key focus for Alperton is to enable us to recycle as much as possible into recoverable and reusable materials.”
