Offshore crane conference

Coming up in May is the 12th North Sea Offshore Cranes & Lifting Conference. It will be held in Stavanger, Norway from 9 to 11 Ma y 2007. Targeted are crane experts, suppliers, operators, statutory representatives and others promoting safe lifting operations.

The object of the conference is to help improve crane safety through better knowledge of new technology, standards and legislation, products & services and best practices. This is achieved through lectures, panel discussions, exhibits and networking. New this year is a special focus on deep water lifting operations and lifting through cessation work with offshore cranes on installations and floating cranes carrying out heavy lifts. Marine and heavy lift contractors are part of the programme and will add value to the conference.
