OHL buys in US

OHL has acquired majority stakes in two US construction companies for US$ 143 million (€ 112 million). It has bought 70% of Community Asphalt Corp and 80% of The Tower Group. Both companies are based in Florida and had combined sales of US$ 400 million (€ 312 million) last year. Community Asphalt specialises in road construction, while The Tower Group focuses on non-residential and high-rise residential buildings.
