Danish manufacturer of trailer, truck and crawler mounted access platforms, Omme Lift, has received King Frederik IX's Prize of Honour for export. Omme exports 80% of its products, a figure it expects to rise to 88% this year. Over the last three years turnover has increased 30% and this year the company anticipates a turnover growth of 50%.

The prize, a statuette and diploma, was presented to Torben and Harry Lorentsen by Denmark's Prince Consort. The Lorentsens said that they were pleased that they and their employees had been chosen to receive the prize which they see as recognition to everyone at Omme Lift.
