Palfinger P550 heads to the UK

Orion Access has taken delivery of the first 55 m working height Palfinger P550 truck mounted platform in the UK.

Big brother to the the P480, the P550 shares many of its features, including its X-jib with 240 degrees of articulation and 400 degrees of platform rotation.

Outreach on the P550 is 41 m, with 20 m of it coming from a longer upper boom/jib, while the rest of the additional height comes from longer main boom sections. Based in Kent, UK, Orion provides a range of access platforms including truck mounted lifts up to 61 m, tracked platforms and scissor and boom lifts.
