Palfinger Platforms sell 50th P260 B truck mount to German rental company Rohrmoser. pictured are Matthias Rohrmoser and Horst Bröcker (sales manager of Palfinger Platforms).

Palfinger Platforms has sold the fiftieth P260 B truck mounted platform, receiving the order just before the new 3.5 t chassis platform goes into production.

The customer was German rental company, Rohrmoser, which has been in business for 15 years and has a fleet of 60 platforms - 26 of which are truck mounts. The P260 B is believed to be the tallest platform in its class with a 25.8 m working height.

Matthias Rohrmoser said, ""By constantly expanding our hire range we can guarantee our customers even better availability of appliances. Our sales staff and technicians are available at all times to offer the best and most cost-effective solution quickly and without fuss. With the new P 260 B, which, by the way, was acquired at the same time as a new Wumag Palfinger WT 300, we are even better set up in the 3.5 t segment."

Palfinger has three machines in the 3.5 t class the new P 260 B, the P 220 B and the P 180 B the company said, " Never before have access platforms in this class been so quick, so flexible in use, so easy to operate, so safe and at the same time so low-maintenance as these."
