PASMA Chairman Chris Blantern visited UTN Training’s open course centre in Wakefield as part of his UK tour to raise funds for Children in Need and to highlight the importance of scaffold tower safety.

Training administration supervisor Joanne Shea welcomed Chris to the Wakefield centre and presented him with a cheque for £250 for Children in Need.

Chris’s visit to UTN Training came on the last day of his three-week UK tour, which took in 197 PASMA training centres.

Chris said: “Children in Need keeps children safe and sound while they’re growing up, and PASMA helps keep them that way when they have grown up and entered the workplace. That is why PASMA is supporting this year’s Children in Need appeal.”

UTN specialises in safety and skills training and delivers courses on Site Safety Plus, First Aid, Asbestos Awareness and New Roads & Street Works.
