Italian loader crane and aerial platform manufacturer PM Group has reported a 30 % increase in turnover for 2004 over 2003 to € 93 million. PM claims to be the world's fourth largest producer of hydraulic cranes for trucks (more than 5000 units sold) and the first for aerial platforms (with subsidiary Oil&Steel).

Autogru PM investment in production includes a plant in Arad, Romania opened in June 2004. Welding and fabrication processes have been brought in-house to eliminate potential for problems from external sub-contractors and help get consistent quality.

Also in 2004, PM investment included opening branches in the US, France and Spain. It also computerised its spare parts warehouse to further reduce delivery times.
