Point of Rental posts three-year growth of 76 percent

19 August 2016

Point of Rental Software has landed on Inc. Magazine’s “Inc. 5000” list of the fastest-growing private companies in America in 2016, posting a three-year growth rate of 76 percent. Point of Rental shares the honor with other industry leaders that gained early exposure as members of the Inc. 5000, including Microsoft, Yelp, Pandora, Timberland, Vizio, Chobani, Oracle and Zappos.com.

“It’s great to make the [Inc. 5000] list again,” said Point of Rental CEO Wayne Harris. “We couldn’t grow our business unless we were helping others grow theirs by providing excellent products and customer service. Returning to the list reflects that we’ve done a great job of doing that, and reinforces our commitment to growing again this year.”

Headquartered in the Dallas metroplex, Point of Rental got its start in 1983. In addition to its flagship rental and inventory management system, Rental Expert, the company developed Rental Essentials, an award-winning, cloud-based product, in 2014, and launched its customized ERP rental management software, Rental Elite, earlier this year, setting themselves and their customers up for future growth.

“Keeping pace with the speed of technology and keeping customers ahead of the curve couldn’t happen without a great team of employees dedicated not only to forward thinking, but also to outstanding customer care,” Harris said.

The Inc. 5000 list takes growth from 2012 through 2015 into accoun. In July, Point of Rental acquired UK-based Syrinx by Higher Concept Software.
