Do you plan to go to any major equipment exhibitions this year?

CE began the year by asking how many of its readers planned to visit a major construction equipment exhibition over the course of 2010.

Just over half the respondents to the month's CE Barometer survey said they would be going to Bauma, the huge exhibition held every three years in Munich. Of the other international events in the calendar, the Hillhead quarrying show held in Buxton, UK came in a very distant second.

The ‘other' shows mentioned by respondents included February's World of Concrete event in Las Vegas, US, Maskin Expo in Sweden and Bumasz in Poland.

It is also interesting to note that more people plan to go to an exhibition than not this year. Just over 60% of respondents said they planned to go to an equipment exhibition of some event, while 36% said they did not.
